This StoreFront 6 project was an integration of the PayPal Pay Later system into
the checkout process. Requirements for the project included verifying that the order
total fell within a specific range, making a call to the PayPal web services for
authorization, transferring payment processing to PayPal, receiving payment verification
from PayPal and processing the completed order. In addition to the minimum processing
requirements from PayPal we also included optional parameters, i.e. order item details,
so that the customer could review their order items as they applied for PayPal Pay
Later.

For this client we created two administration areas to manage customers and customer
job information. The administration area features simple treeview navigation of
the management pages, easy management of customer information, and the ability to
create and manage multiple jobs for each customer. Each job created allows the customer
manager to set job status, make notes and upload multiple images of the job progress
so that the customer can review their job's status at any time.
Each of our client's customers can then log in directly from the website using a
simple login page that features automatic retrieval of forgotten passwords. Once
logged in the client simply selects the job that they wish to review and the status,
notes and images are all loaded seemlessly with Ajax.

This StoreFront 6 project integrated multiple steps into the "add to cart" process.
Instead of the standard two step process of "view product details and add to cart"
and "view items in the shopping cart", we modified the process to implement the
following steps four steps (for printed products only):
- View details and volume pricing
- Design content for the product
- Review printing selections and select standard StoreFront attributes
- Review items in the shopping cart
Some specifics for the project included dynamic generation of the base card image
with customer text laid over, adding customized parameters for each card product
such as font size, font color and font style, an administration area in the Merchant
Tools for managing the custom parameters, a method to manage fonts and colors, implementaion
of Ajax and verification to ensure each customer had viewed and approved the most
recent customizations to their product, and custom reporting for order so that employees
could view order processing forms which included all standard StoreFront order information
as well as custom printing selection choices.
